Taxonomy

I just received some website feedback regarding my Drupal 7 Taxonomy Reinvented post. Since the question is an interesting one, I thought it would be better to write a post so more people can make use of the answer.

I have installed drupal 7 alpha 5 on my server. And inputed several tag words in taxonomy.

In my Drupal 7 Taxonomy Reinvented post I mentioned that the synonyms option for terms are removed in Drupal 7.

When searching for some other features I stumbled on the Synonyms module at drupal.org. This module does not only add back the option, but also integrates with the search module as well as making it easier to find related nodes.

This time I have taken a closer look at the changes to the core taxonomy features in Drupal 7. Initially I thought this would be a short post, but as with most things with taxonomy it grew quite a bit. I hope you find it interesting and useful.
