First Spam that Mollom didn't catch

Today I got the first spam that Mollom didn't manage to catch. I'm not really surprised though since I am pretty sure it was not done by a spam bot. The reason I am saying pretty sure is that my site was hit big by spam bots today and even though I have set the log to keep the last 10,000 entires the number of new spam attempts filled it before I had a chance to look at it.

30 Spam Comments in 2 mins Blocked by Mollom

I routinly go through the Drupal logs here on Nutshell, mainly checking for any potential error messages for Drupal 7. Today when I had a look I noticed a big spike in the Mollom statistics. Yesterday there where 30 atempts to comment spam. Naturally I had to look further into it since I am just running small blog and that single spike doubled the total number of spam atempts since I enabled the Mollom module a month and a half ago.

Mollom M logo12 days ago Nutshell received its first spam comment and I decided to install the Mollom module for Drupal 7.

Today I have looked at the statistics and Mollom has so far done a 100% accurate job.

11 Spam Attempts Blocked

So far it has blocked 11 spam attempts. Including this comment:

Mollom M logoHonestly I thought it would take longer that 6 days to get the first spam comment, and it was only the 5th comment, including my own two replies.
