At 7:28 this morning (my time) Jen Simmons tweeted that "Bartik is in core!. This is great news since Bartik is a fantastic theme that really takes advantage of the new features in Drupal 7.
Nice improvement, isn't it? As I mentioned in my post yesterday I was going to take Jen Simmons Bartik theme for a spin.
Today I have done so and started by reading about the new changes in the theme system for Drupal 7. There are some very nice improvements from Drupal 6. I won go into them here, but if you want to know more. Check out the video below where Laura Scott gives a very good overview of them at DrupalCon San Fransisco in April this year.
