In a blog post today, Google announced the open source organisations accepted to Google Code-In 2010. Google Code-In is a Google sponsored program where they help open source organisations forward. Drupal is one of the organisations they have accepted together with other Web CMS such as Plone and WordPress.

The popular skin suite for Google Gmail, Reader and Calendar from Globex Design has been released in version 0.5 for the Mozilla Firefox browser. Google Redesigned is a very popular and quick way of transforming the original look into something much more pleasant. Just compare the before and after screenshots below.

Just watched All Things Digital D8 interview with Steve Jobs where Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher is supposed to interview him. There where a lot of interesting stuff in there, but a complete lack of any tough follow up questions.

Today I have installed two new contributed modules for Drupal 7:
- Site Verification that makes it easy to connect the website to search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo.
- XML Sitemap to generate machine readable sitemaps that are then submitted to search engines.
Both modules installed without any complaints and are working almost perfect.
