Drupal 7 Release Closer as new Milestone Reached

I just noticed that the number of critical issues now has gone down to exactly 50 left. That is definitely a milestone to notice.

Of course, it will keep going up and down, but in the last week I have seen much more activity in the issue queue. Part reason for why it has been a little slow before was due to that both Dries Buytaert and Angie "webchick" Byron have moved lately and thus been tied up with that. Now they are back to committing patches again.

There is still a lot to do. If you have the skills, head over to the Drupal 7 queue for critical issues and help out. The more help the quicker it will be released.
